We are focusing on taking care of how we assess and reduce risk in our care workers whilst working with different vulnerable clients.
These include the following:
- the risk to the people who use our service, considering any individual characteristics which may put them at increased risk
- the risk in our workplace, which includes travel to and from, and travel between workplaces
- the risk to our workers, including volunteers, considering any individual characteristics which may put them at increased risk.
In addition to the above we are also working in alliance with DHSC directions of wearing appropriate and required PPE protection to avoid contact with symptomatic and asymptomatic patients. Our office space has reduced hours of working with facilities to work from home for those employees which are not directly involved with front line staff.
We provide training based on the directives published by NHS and QCS with regards to COVID-19 testing, response workflows and PPE usage.
